As you'll see in our 2020 Honda Accord review, this sedan is popular among Cherry Hill area drivers for a very good reason. With an exciting engine, high-tech safety features, and plenty of interior space, the 2020 Accord has a little something for everyone.
You can check out what this sedan brings to the Marlton and Mt. Laurel area roadways by reading below. When you're ready to see it in action, contact the team at Burns Honda, and we'll get you behind the wheel.
2020 Honda Accord Powertrain Review
The 2020 Accord gives you two engines to choose from:
- 1.5L turbo I-4:Â 192 horsepower, 192 lb-ft of torque
- 2.0L turbo I-4:Â 252 horsepower, 273 lb-ft of torque
If you want a drivable engine that adds an exciting kick to your everyday commutes, then you'll love the standard 1.5L turbo engine that generates 192 horsepower. This comes paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that's highly efficient and performance-optimizing.
Certain trim levels also come with a sporty 6-speed manual transmission that gives you complete control over your drive.
Do you want even more of a thrill, though? Then you may prefer the 2.0L turbo I-4 engine that produces 252 horsepower. It can work with the CVT or a 10-speed automatic transmission with Shift-By-Wire and Paddle Shifters.
This transmission gives you the best of both worlds by providing the optimized performance of an automatic transmission while letting you change gears on command when you want more control.
Smart Safety Tech
One of our favorite things about the 2020 Honda Accord is that it comes standard with a full suite of driver-assist and safety technologies designed to help you drive with even more confidence. Smart safety features you'll find in this sedan include:
- Collision Mitigation Braking Systemâ„¢
- Road Departure Mitigation System
- Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow
- Lane Keeping Assist System
- Traffic Sign Recognition System
These features are all part of the Honda Sensing® suite of driver-assist technologies, and they come standard on every 2020 Accord.
Auto High-Beam Headlights also come standard. These automatically turn your high beams on and off based on the flow of oncoming traffic or traffic signals. This way, you can focus all your attention on navigating dark roadways without having to worry about manually adjusting your high beams.
Another feature we love is the available Blind Spot Information System (BSI) with Cross Traffic Monitor. This can help you change lanes or merge more safely by alerting you to vehicles in your side blind spots. The Cross Traffic Monitor feature also lets you know if another car is approaching from the side when you're trying to back out of a parking space.
Interior Dimensions
Finally, let's take a quick look inside the cabin. Since it's a midsize sedan, you can expect the Honda Accord to have plenty of interior space. In fact, it gives you 105.6 cubic feet of total passenger volume. This includes:
- Headroom (front/rear):Â 39.5/37.3 inches
- Legroom (front/rear):Â 42.3/40.4 inches
If you need to bring home groceries or pack up for a weekend getaway with your friends, then you can take full advantage of the spacious trunk area, which can accommodate a total of 16.7 cubic feet of cargo.
