As for their standard engines, the Honda Accord comes with a 1.5L turbo I-4 engine that generates 192 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The standard engine in the Nissan Altima, on the other hand, is a 2.5L I-4 engine that produces 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque.
There is also an available hybrid engine you can get with the 2022 Accord. Unfortunately, the Nissan Altima doesn’t offer this kind of powertrain versatility.
When you get behind the wheel of either the Honda or Nissan model, you’ll find that you have plenty of space to stretch out, including just over 39 inches of headroom. Both sedans also have enough seats for five passengers total, including the driver.
