You'll get the top efficiency ratings when you're running on the 1.5L engine paired with the continuously variable transmission (CVT). The CVT serves up that effortless performance you crave without requiring you to shift between gears. It maximizes on efficiency by doing away with the set gears of a traditional automatic. Instead, it allows for nearly infinite shifts between the upper and lower limits.

Of course, if you want to take a little more control over your drive, a 6-speed manual transmission is available on the Sport trim.

Honda Civic Safety

Whether you're hitting the road for a family vacation or taking the kids to school, it's important to know that your sedan has the tools to help you reach your destination as safely as possible. The Civic definitely delivers on safety features thanks to its standard Honda Sensing® suite of driver-assistive technologies.

In all, you'll have five seats inside the Civic sedan, with a total passenger volume of 97.8 cubic feet. That's slightly above average for the midsize sedan class. Then, with the available one-touch power moonroof with tilt feature, you can let in plenty of natural light which can make the cabin feel even more spacious.

Plus, you can load up your groceries in the 15.1-cubic-foot trunk. If you need even more cargo space, the available 60/40 split-folding rear seats let you fold the back row down and extend the trunk into the cabin. This is great for when you're travelling with hockey sticks, skis, brooms, or any other longer items.

Even better, certain trim levels feature available heated front seats. These allow you to warm up quickly after cleaning snow off your car on a chilly winter morning.
